The ACT test assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The multiple-choice tests cover four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science. EXPLORE and PLAN are part of the ACT suite of assessments that are given at the 8th and 10th grades. Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment courses provide opportunities for students to gain college credit while still in high school. 2017 AP Data:
