Online Registration Information

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Hamblen County School District has wonderful news…….. NO MORE REGISTRATION PACKETS!

The district is excited to announce that we are moving to online registration for both new and returning students in the 2017-2018 School Year.

What do I need to do to get ready for Online Registration?

More detailed information will be coming out soon, but in the meantime, please make sure you have your correct email address in your Parent Portal account and you are able to log in.  If you are not able to log into your account or you need to setup a Parent Portal account, contact your school’s office.  An active email address is required to register online whether you use the ParentPortal option or not.   If you do not have one, you can try a free site like Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook.

The district goal is to have "SNAP" codes on current student's end-of-year grade cards for those parents who may not be able to get a ParentPortal account before the end of the school year, but the best option for a parent is to use their ParentPortal account to complete the registration.  Registration will open sometime in early July and we ask that parent/guardians complete the registration prior to registration day at the school.  Completing the online registration does not change the need for your child to attend on registration day, but hopefully will dramatically reduce the amount of time you must spend registering your child.  If you do not have access to the Internet at home, you can try the local library, or other location.  PowerSchool Registration now supports registration on mobile devices.
